Winter Staples x The Aberdeen Diaries
So, THIS video.
If you follow me on twitter, you may have already seen it.
It's basically me and fellow blogger and University of Aberdeen student, NT of The Aberdeen Diaries, talking about our winter staples for her second vlog.
Only, I happen to be very awkward, (note the shifty eyes) and she happens to be slightly awkward, but only very slightly.
So if you want to laugh at me, watch someone who is more awkward than you, brighten up your day or actually want to know a couple of our winter staples, watch it and it might actually achieve something we wanted it to.
Tell me what you think as well, we'll appreciate it.

This is one of my favourite bands and songs of the moment. I was introduced to them at a party where me and a friend literally had to strain our ears at a speaker to listen to the haunting lo-fi goodliness of wye oak. Enjoy!

The DIY Dip-Dye.
The Dip Dye
I originally just used Live colour's XXL max blonde on about 4 inches of the tips of my hair and was so happy with the sort of bronzed (not ginger) colour I was left with. I was happily prancing around with my neutral dip dye for about a month. BUT, I had orange and pink hair dye floating around so i got bored and put it in.
I very creatively used a toothbrush, to cover the bleached tips all over with the orange dye first and then put the pink dye at the very tips and left it in for just over 20 mins and washed it out. However, because I put the pink on before I had washed out the orange dye, the colours mixed and produced a red-orange flame inferno! Which i like better than the my little pony style colour I was imagining before. What d'yall think?

Classic Grunge
Winter has most certainly arrived and I'm feeling none to happy about that.
I've been attempting to make myself feel better by buying things off ebay (nothing more exciting than a last minute auction to get those juices flowing), but now I think I have to sell things on ebay in order to survive. So, if anyone wants to buy my kidney give me a shout!
I'm particularly happy with my dms and brown leather backpack and perhaps i've jumped on some trends a little hard with this set. The gold watch, camel coat, dr martens, backpack et al. But trends are exciting, and theres nothing more interesting than a trend worn a different way, I love the juxtaposition of the classic camel coat, white shirt and nude nails with grungy florals and big boots. Who doesn't like a fashion mix-up?
I've also recently jumped on the DIY dip-dye bandwagon and changed the tips of my hair to a dazzling flame inferno of orange and red. I'll post pictures in the week.
